Seabord Services Corp ("Seabord") is a Canadian company that provides management, administrative, regulatory, tax and investor relations services to private and public mining companies operating throughout the world. Seabord has extensive experience in taking private companies public including IPO's, RTO's, or CPC's. Seabord's senior staff will accept appointments to the Board of Directors of the client as well as officers positions including Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and Controller. Seabord and its group have been together since 2004, and currently provide services to six public mining companies. Seabord's staff consists of 9 full-time employees.
On a standalone basis this infrastructure can often be a prohibitive cost to a small company. Seabord is able to offer a competitive fee structure by dealing with several groups, which lowers the cost of such services to any particular client. This also allows the principals of the client companies to effectively manage their time and concentrate on developing and implementing their business plans.
The President and sole shareholder of Seabord is Mr. Michael Winn. In addition to running Seabord, Mr. Winn also runs a consulting company (Terrasearch Inc,) that provides investment analysis and financial services to companies operating in the oil & gas, mining and energy sectors. Mr. Winn has worked directly and indirectly in the oil and gas industry since 1983 and the mining industry since 1992. Mr. Winn is also a director and officer of several public companies in the resource sector that operate in Canada, United States, Latin America, Europe and Africa.
